The Full Moon is upon us. At this juncture, she is traveling in the
sign of Pisces. Thus the realm of the fish imbues us with
illumination.
Abundant light is readily available during the full moon cycle. The
Moon's radiance grants insight, clarity, understanding and the
ability to compromise. This resplendence is symbolic of
enlightenment, vision and consciousness. Thus a full moon cycle
facilitates us in finding our way out of the darkness. Upon
reflection, there is revelation.
Pisces' realm is quite mystical. Boundaries of time and space
disappear as we commune with cosmic consciousness. When Pisces is
about, we are called upon to dialogue with The Divine. Our hearts
are more fully open at this time. We recognize our own vulnerability
as well as the vulnerability of others. In essence, we resonate with
the human condition while embracing ourselves as spiritual beings.
Compassion and sensitivity are two prominent expressions of this
sign. What area of your life is deserving of compassion? Are you
treating yourself with kindness and sensitivity? Are you extending
these qualities to others?
Pisces reminds us that genuine compassion for self is paramount to
walking compassionately in the world.
As Pisces has a proclivity for carrying the weight of the world's
sufferings, we are imbued with heightened sensitivity. The woes of
the collective are most readily heard and felt at this juncture.
Most challenging for Pisces is walking with an open heart, while not
allowing oneself to become inundated with the sorrows of the planet.
As the volatile Mars energy is still upon us, it is essential to
embrace Pisces evermore so that we may cultivate love and empathy
for those with whom we are angry. Since the Mars perihelion,
violence in the world has escalated. Even now as this most powerful
full moon is upon us, tragedy abounds. By cultivating compassion for
self and others we contribute peace and healing to the world at
large.
We are offered tremendous opportunity for transformation during this
time, as Pluto figures prominently in relationship to the moon.
Plutonic energy is challenging to navigate. The message here is to
let go. Allow for the death of aspects of self and one's life, which
no longer serve you. This Plutonic impetus fuels the quiet Piscean
moon with volatility and primal emotion. However, the prominent
Plutonic themes of death, rebirth and transformation are profoundly
present. Wherever chaos prevails, creative rebirth awaits us.
Pluto evokes those hidden places within us that we deem less than
acceptable, the shadow. These aspects of self are difficult to
claim. Yet it is by embracing these light deprived areas of our
psyche that most readily paves the road for personal transformation.
Our greatest gifts lie beneath our most destructive thoughts and
behaviors. By loving these shadow dimensions of self, we transmute
them.
Pisces inhabits the waters of Neptune. Oceanic in nature, Pisces
encourages and inspires us to dive deeply into the sea of emotion.
The full moon reaches exactitude today, September 10, 2003, at 12:35
PM.
Take a moment to reflect.
Love the unlovable.
…we are luminous beings. We are perceivers. We are an awareness;
we are not objects; we have no solidity. We are boundless. -Don Juan
